Despite Being Confined To A Wheelchair Since Birth, Sparsh Shah Is A Child Prodigy
He was born with a very rare condition named Osteogenesis Imperfecta that makes his bones extremely brittle. So much so that his bones cannot bear the weight of his own body. Right from the moment of birth he started having fractures. Every now and then a little impact would break his bones anywhere in his body. Even a little handshake can break his bones. Thus. life was extremely hard from the very beginning. As a child he could not go out to play like other children. He has been confined to a wheelchair. But that did not cause his mind to stay confined within the boundaries of his physical limitations. In fact, he became a child musical prodigy and motivational speaker of international fame at a very tender age. Spars is also a philanthropist.
Sparsh Shah, born to Indian American parents in New Jersey, USA is now 19 year old. So far he had more than 140 fractures and multiple rod surgeries. There are 8 rods and 22 screws in his body. But that has not stopped him from living his life to the fullest. He has a great sense of humour and is always seen smiling and radiating positive vibes. So far he has 9 singing competition awards and over 300 live performances in 9 countries to is credit. He as performed at prestigious venues such as Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, Prudential Center, Metlife Stadium, CitiField, National Center of Performing Arts, CosmoCaxia Barcelona, etc.
Sparsh has over 300 million views on all social media platforms and has followers in 150+ countries.
